I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a ÂŁ1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
